Stuffed Mushrooms

Ingredients
- 1 lb. large fresh mushrooms
- 1/2 c. minced green pepper
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 1/2 c. bread crumbs
- 1/4 lb. melted butter
- cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Clean mushrooms; remove stems and mince them.

2Saute mushroom caps in butter until lightly brown.

3Remove from heat, then saute minced onion, green pepper, mushroom stems and celery in butter. Add seasonings.

4Fill each mushroom cap with mixture.

5Sprinkle each with bread crumbs.

6Drizzle melted butter on top.

7Bake 10 to 15 minutes at 350°.

8Remove from oven.

9Top each one with a piece of cheese.

10Return to oven and bake until cheese is melted.
