- 1 pound Sage Sausage
- 1 whole Medium Onion, Chopped
- 1 Tablespoon Italian Seasoning
- 12 whole Stuffer Mushrooms
- 1 block Cream Cheese
- 1/2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- 1 Tablespoon Italian Style Bread Crumbs
- 1 Tablespoon Melted Butter
Directions

1Brown the sausage with the chopped onion.

2Sprinkle with Italian seasoning.

3Meanwhile, scoop out and clean the mushrooms.

4Once the sausage is browned, add the cream cheese.

5Heat until soft and stir together.

6Fill each mushroom with the sausage mixture.

7Sprinkle each mushroom with mozzarella cheese.

8Spoon bread crumbs on top.

9Finally, drizzle melted butter on top of the bread crumbs.

10Bake at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes.

11If you want to crisp the top, put them under the broiler for about 5 minutes.
