Stuffed Pasta Shells

Ingredients

  • 1 box jumbo shells (for stuffing)
  • 1 medium container Ricotta cheese
  • 1 medium container cottage cheese
  • 1 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese (1/2 for stuffing, 1/2 for topping)
  • 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 large jar pasta or spaghetti sauce
  • salt, pepper, basil and parsley (optional)

Directions

    Cook noodles according to directions.

    Mix cheeses, egg and spices together to use for stuffing.

    Pour 1/2-inch of sauce into baking pan.

    Stuff shells and place side by side in baking pan. Cover shells slightly with sauce and sprinkle with Mozzarella cheese.

    Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
