  • 6 large bell peppers
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp. garlic
  • 3 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 3 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. allspice
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 c. cooked rice
  • bread crumbs (optional)

Directions

    Cut tops off peppers and remove seeds.

    Boil in salted water for five minutes and drain.

    Cook beef, onions and garlic in melted butter, stirring, until it crumbles.

    Simmer for ten minutes.

    Add remaining ingredients; cover with bread crumbs. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.
