- 6 medium green peppers
- 3/4 lb. lean ground beef
- 1/4 lb. hot sausage
- 1 c. rice, cooked
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. V-8 juice
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
Directions

1Remove tops and seeds of peppers.

2Cover with boiling water; cook for 5 minutes.

3Drain.

4(For crisp peppers, omit precooking.) Leave peppers whole or cut lengthwise.

5Lightly brown ground beef and sausage.

6Add to remaining ingredients.

7Stuff peppers.

8Bake at 350° for about 40 minutes or until brown.
