- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 6 bell peppers
- 3 c. cooked rice
- pepper
- onion powder
- garlic powder
- chopped onion
- 8 oz. tomato sauce
- 10 1/2 oz. beef consomme
- 1 egg
- garlic bread
Directions

1Clean peppers, removing inner membranes and seeds.

2Parboil peppers for 5 minutes.

3In large bowl, combine meat, seasonings, chopped onion, rice and egg.

4In saucepan, mix tomato sauce and consomme; heat.

5Add one cup sauce mix to meat and rice mixture. Stuff the peppers.

6Use remaining sauce mix to pour over stuffed peppers.

7Bake at 350° in uncovered (oiled dish) for 60 minutes. Serve with garlic bread.
