Stuffed Peppers

  • 6 large green peppers
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
  • 2 can Italian tomato sauce
  • 3/4 cup shredded cheddar

Directions

    Cut thin slice from top of peppers, remove seeds and wash. Brown ground beef and onion until done; drain.

    Stir rice, garlic salt, and one can of tomato sauce.

    Stuff peppers with mixture and stand upright in a baking dish.

    Pour other can of tomato sauce over peppers and cover dish.

    Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Uncover and bake 15 more minutes.

    Remove from oven and sprinkle cheese on top.
