  • 4 medium bell peppers
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1 c. uncooked rice
  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 medium onion
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Brown ground beef and chopped onion.

    Simmer until meat is done.

    Add tomato sauce, rice, salt and pepper.

    Slice top off bell peppers and core.

    Fill each pepper equally with meat mixture until it reaches top.

    Place upright in buttered casserole dish. Cover with foil.

    Cook at 350° for about 1 hour.
