  • 3 large peppers
  • 1/2 lb. hamburger
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped onion
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • dash of garlic salt
  • 1/2 c. cooked rice
  • 8 oz. can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 c. Mozzarella cheese

Directions

    Prepare peppers by removing top and seeds. Cook in enough boiling water to cover for 5 minutes. Cook and stir hamburger and onion until light brown. Drain off grease.

    Stir in garlic salt, rice and most of the tomato sauce.

    Stuff peppers with hamburger mixture.

    Place in ungreased baking dish.

    Pour rest of tomato sauce over them. Cover and cook 45 minutes at 350°.

    Uncover and cook 15 more minutes. Sprinkle with cheese on top.
