Stuffed Peppers

Ingredients

  • 2 to 3 large green peppers
  • 3/4 lb. ground beef
  • 1/3 c. diced onion
  • 1/3 c. uncooked rice
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • 1 small can tomato sauce

Directions

    In pan, brown meat and drain.

    Add onion, rice, 1/2 can tomato sauce and 1/2 cup water.

    Add spices and Worcestershire sauce.

    Simmer 15 minutes.

    Fill peppers (cut tops, deseed and wash).

    Pour remaining tomato sauce over peppers.

    Bake at 375° for 25 minutes or until done.

    Can also be cooked in crock-pot after filling is put into peppers.
