  • 6 to 8 green peppers
  • 1 c. cooked rice
  • 1 lb. ground beef or turkey
  • 1 medium size can tomato sauce
  • 8 oz. hot pepper cheese or Monterey Jack
  • dash of hot sauce
  • pinch of oregano
  • onion salt or powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • bread crumbs and butter for topping

    Clean peppers and remove stems.

    Cut a little off nose so they will stand on end.
