- 6 medium green peppers
- 1 1/2 lb. hamburger
- 1 egg
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/2 c. fine bread crumbs
- 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 1 tsp. garlic
- salt to taste
Directions

1Cut top off peppers, scoop out seeds.

2Cook in boiling water, salted, about 10 minutes.

3Drain and place in 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.

4Meanwhile, mix hamburger, eggs, onions, garlic, salt and bread crumbs. Mix together.

5Place mixture into pepper. Bake in oven at 350° for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

6Pour tomato sauce on top of pepper and bake another 15 minutes.
