Stuffed Peppers

  • 6 to 8 green peppers
  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1/2 c. half cooked rice
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 or 2 eggs
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 c. tomato sauce

Directions

    Wash peppers.

    Cut tops off and clean out seeds.

    Be careful not to break peppers. Mix hamburger, rice, salt, pepper, eggs and chopped onion. Fill peppers as full as possible with the meat mixture.

    Place in greased baking pan, open end up.

    Cover with tomato sauce. Cover pan with tight fitting lid. Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 30 minutes or until hamburger is done.
