- 4 large green peppers
- 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 small onion
- 1 clove garlic, pressed
- 1 lb. ground beef (or chuck, round or sirloin)
- 1 c. cooked rice
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 tsp. basil
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 3/4 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Butter baking dish.

2Cut green peppers in half lengthwise. Remove the stems, membranes, and seeds.

3In a saucepan, boil the peppers in water to cover for 5 minutes.

4Drain.

5Place in the prepared baking dish.
