- 4 green bell peppers
- 3 Tbsp. bread crumbs
- 2/3 c. milk
- 2 onions
- 3/4 lb. ground beef
- 1 egg yolk
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- dash of black pepper
- tomato juice
- grated cheese
Directions

1Rinse peppers.

2Slice tops off.

3Pull out seeds.

4For stuffing, combine bread crumbs and milk.

5Let sit for 10 minutes. Peel and chop onions.

6In a bowl, combine ground meat, onions, bread crumb mixture and egg yolk.

7Mix well.

8Season with salt and pepper.

9Spoon meat mixture into peppers.

10Place peppers in a greased baking dish.

11Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

12Baste with liquid from pan.

13Sprinkle with cheese.

14Bake at 375° for 10 additional minutes.
