- 4 bell peppers, all colors
- 1 lb ground beef
- 12 large onion, chopped
- 13 cup uncooked rice (or uncooked noodles)
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- salt and pepper
- 3 (14 1/2 ounce) cansstewed tomatoes with garlic
Directions

1Cut top half peppers off, clean out seeds.

2In large skillet cook remaining ingredients until meat is browned and crumbled.

3Stuff peppers with meat mixture.

4In now empty skillet pour 1 1/2 cans of stewed tomatoes.

5Place peppers on top, then pour remaining 1 1/2 cans of stewed tomatoes on top of peppers.

6Cover and simmer on medium heat for 30-45 minutes, pouring tomato juices over peppers consistently.
