  • 12 lb hot dog, halved lengthwise and sliced
  • 1 cup sliced celery
  • 1 cup sliced carrot
  • 12 cup chopped green pepper
  • 14 cup chopped onion
  • 14 cup butter or 14 cup margarine
  • 14 cup all-purpose flour
  • 12 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • 12 teaspoon pepper (or to taste)
  • 2 12-3 cups milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Directions

    In a large saucepan, combine hot dogs, celery, carrots, green pepper, onion, and butter.

    Cook and stir over medium heat until vegetables are tender.
