Stuffed Peppers

  • 4 large peppers
  • 1 c. cooked rice
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp. parsley
  • water
  • 1 c. ground meat
  • 1 egg
  • paprika
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 c. tomato sauce

Directions

    Remove stems from peppers.

    Cut off bottoms and save.

    Scoop out seeds.

    Mix meat, rice, egg and seasonings.

    Stuff peppers; replace bottoms and place peppers upright.

    Add butter and a little water.

    Cover and stew over medium heat until done.

    Pour thick tomato sauce over peppers.

    Bake at 350° for about 45 minutes.
