- 6 green peppers
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1 1/2 c. milk or cream
- 2 c. chopped chicken
- 2/3 c. buttered crumbs
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- onion juice
Directions

1Cut peppers from top.

2Remove carefully all the seeds and tongue.

3Cut thin slice from bottom so peppers will stand.

4Melt butter.

5Add flour and seasoning, then the milk and onion juice; add meat and fill peppers with mixture.

6Cover with crumbs made by stirring 2/3 cup bread crumbs into 2/3 tablespoon of melted butter.

7Place the pepper in a baking pan and cover the bottom with boiling water.

8Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
