Ingredients

  • 6 green peppers
  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 c. rice, cooked
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper (black)
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt

Directions

    Slice off tops of peppers; take out seeds.

    Place peppers in enough boiling water to cover and cook for 15 minutes.

    Cook hamburger and onions until brown.

    Drain off grease.

    Add remaining ingredients and heat through.

    Fill peppers with stuffing.

    Cover and cook in a 350° oven for 45 minutes.

    Uncover and cook for 15 minutes longer.
