  • 6 to 7 medium to large potatoes
  • 2/3 c. sour cream
  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine
  • 2 c. sharp Cheddar
  • 1 tsp. salt or to taste
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper or to taste
  • 1 tsp. garlic or to taste

Directions

    Bake potatoes in a 375° oven until skins are slightly firm. Remove from oven.

    Cool.

    Cut potatoes in half.

    Scoop out potato and save skins.
  5. 5
    Mix remaining ingredients with potatoes, using mixer or hand potato masher.

    Fill empty skins.

    Bake at 375° for 30 minutes or until tops brown.
