- 4 large baking potatoes
- 1 lb. ground beef or lamb
- 1 large onion, diced
- 4 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. allspice
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 c. pine nuts
- 1 large can tomatoes or water (to cover)
Directions

1Wash potatoes and cut in half lengthwise.

2Scoop out the centers, leaving a thick wall as a shell.

3Cook meat in a large skillet until brown. Add onion, pine nuts, spices and butter. Stir and cook for 10 minutes. Stuff potatoes with mixture and arrange, skin side down, in a buttered baking pan. Cover either with canned tomatoes or water.

4Bake in a preheated oven at 350° for 30 minutes.
