Stuffed Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 1 large onion
  • 1 large bell pepper
  • 3 stems celery
  • 1 1/2 pods garlic
  • 1/4 c. oil
  • 1/2 lb. raw shrimp, cleaned, deveined and chopped
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 c. wet bread (use day old and toast)
  • 1/2 Tbsp. parsley
  • 1 raw egg
  • 2 lb. large shrimp
  • flour
  • egg and milk mixture

Directions

    Chop onion, pepper, celery and garlic fine and saute in oil until soft.

    Add the chopped raw shrimp, salt and pepper.

    Cook until shrimp is done, 5 to 7 minutes.

    Remove bread from water and squeeze out water; add to mixture a little a time, mixing well. Add parsley.

    Let cook 5 minutes.

    Set aside to cool, then add eggs and mix well.
