- 2 firm large tomatoes, unpeeled
- 1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
- 1 tsp. butter, melted
- 1/2 tsp. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp. finely diced ham
- 1/8 tsp. leaf basil, crumbled
- 1/8 tsp. leaf oregano, crumbled
- 1 tsp. minced parsley
- pinch of salt
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Cut tomatoes in halves.

3In small bowl, mix remaining ingredients thoroughly and press on top of tomato halves.

4In shallow baking dish, bake tomatoes until softened, about 15 to 25 minutes (time will depend on firmness of tomatoes).

5Topping should be lightly browned.

6If not, tomatoes may be placed under broiler.

7Makes 4 servings.
