- 2 small acorn squash (14 to 16 oz. each)
- 1 1/2 c. chopped cooking apple
- 1/4 c. chopped celery
- 2 Tbsp. chopped walnuts
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- salt
Directions

1Cut squash in half lengthwise and remove seeds.

2Place squash halves, cut side down in a shallow baking dish.

3Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes.

4Stir together apple, celery, walnuts, sugar and cinnamon.

5Turn squash halves cut side up.

6Sprinkle with salt. Spoon apple mixture into halves.

7Bake covered about 25 minutes more.
