  • 8 cups Potato Bread
  • 2 cups Onion
  • 5 stalks celery
  • 1 cup carrot
  • 2 tablespoons fresh sage
  • 1 tablespoon dry thyme
  • 3/4 stick butter
  • 1 1/2 cups stock
  • 8 pieces dates
  • 5 strips bacon

Directions

    Saute veggies, thyme and sage in 1/2 stick butter until soft, add stock and bring to a simmer then remove from heat.

    Toast bread, combine all ingredients and dot with remaining butter.

    Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake 20 additional minutes.
