Ingredients
- 1 1/2 loaves home-style bread
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 celery sticks, chopped
- 1/4 c. oleo or butter
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 tsp. thyme
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 to 2 tsp. poultry seasoning
- 1/2 soup can water
Directions

1Cut up bread and set aside.

2Finely chop onion and celery. Saute until limp, but not brown in melted butter.

3Add 1/2 cup chicken soup, thyme, pepper and poultry seasoning.

4Mix with bread and form balls (about 12).

5Place in greased baking dish.

6Mix remaining soup with water until smooth.

7Pour 1 tablespoon of mixture

8over each ball.

9Cover and bake 30 minutes at 350°. Remove cover.

10Pour remaining soup over balls.

11Bake uncovered 10 minutes.
