  • 6 to 8 ears of corn
  • 1 lb. fresh butter beans
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 3/4 c. milk

Directions

    Boil butter beans until tender in unsalted water.

    Cut raw corn from cob.

    Place corn in double boiler with butter, water and milk. Cook steadily for 20 minutes.

    Add butter beans, salt and pepper to taste.

    Cook together about 5 minutes.
