  • 1 recipe cornbread
  • 7 to 8 slices bread, toasted on both sides
  • 4 to 6 bunches green onions, chopped (about 4 c.)
  • 1 bundle celery, chopped (about 5 c.)
  • 1/2 c. butter, melted
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 4 to 5 c. broth
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • cooked chicken liver
  • 3 boiled eggs

Directions

    Make cornbread and crumble with toast.

    Mix green onions and celery; cook in small amount of water until tender.

    Add celery and onion mix, eggs and butter to cornbread.

    Use enough broth to moisten; salt and pepper to taste.

    Heat, uncovered, 30 minutes at 375°.
