  • 2 sticks Butter
  • 2-1/4 cups White Sugar
  • 4 whole Eggs
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla
  • 4-1/4 cups Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoons Baking Soda

Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

    2. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.

    3. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing after each egg. Add vanilla and mix well.

    4. In a separate bowl combine flour, salt and soda and stir with a whisk to combine. Add to the wet mixture and mix just until combined.

    5. Spread on a greased baking sheet (or use parchment paper).

    6. Bake for 15 minutes, until light golden brown or until a toothpick comes out clean.
