  • 1 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 1 c. oleo (2 sticks)
  • 1 c. Wesson oil (or any good oil)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 1/2 c. flour

Directions

    Cream sugars, oleo and oil.

    Beat in 2 eggs; sift and stir in salt, soda and cream of tartar.

    Add vanilla and flour.

    Mix together well.

    Chill dough.

    Roll in balls.

    Place on a cookie sheet (unbuttered).

    Press with a fork.

    Bake at 350° for 12 to 15 minutes.
