- 1 1/2 c. confectioners sugar
- 1 c. oleo
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. almond
- 3 1/4 c. unsifted flour (maybe less)
- 1 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 tsp. soda
Directions

1Cream sugar and oleo; add egg and flavoring.

2Mix thoroughly. Sift dry ingredients together and stir in.

3Refrigerate 2 to 3 hours.

4Heat oven to 375°.

5Divide dough in half and roll on lightly floured pastry sheet.

6Roll thin but thick enough to pick up design of cookie cutter.

7Cut as many cookies from each rolling as possible.

8The least amount of working with dough gives the best cookies.

9Bake 9 to 10 minutes or until delicately golden.

10Don't space too close on pan.
