- 3/4 cup corn syrup
- 4 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 cup water
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 2 pounds pecan halves
Directions

1Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil.

2In a large heavy saucepan over medium heat, combine corn syrup, sugar, and water.

3Stir mixture only until sugar is completely moist and mixture reaches 242 degrees F on a candy thermometer.

4At that point, without stirring, immediately remove from heat and add cinnamon.

5Stir until mixture settles or stops boiling.

6Stir pecans into mixture all at once.

7Stir until all pecans are coated completely.

8Pour out onto a cookie sheet and allow to cool.

9Break into pieces and serve.
