- 1 1/3 cups sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup fresh cranberries
Directions

1Combine 1 cup sugar and water in 1-quart saucepan.

2Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, 2-3 minutes or until sugar dissolves.

3Continue cooking 8-9 minutes or until mixture just comes to a boil.

4Remove from heat; stir in cranberries.

5Pour mixture into bowl.

6Cover; refrigerate 8 hours or overnight.

7Drain cranberries.

8Place remaining sugar into shallow bowl.

9Add cooked cranberries, rolling to coat.

10Place sugared cranberries in single layer onto waxed paper.

11Let stand at room temperature 1 hour or until dry.
