- 2 c. light brown sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 4 c. pecan halves
- 1 c. white sugar
- 1 c. sour cream
Directions

1Combine sugar and sour cream in a large saucepan.

2Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until sugar is dissolved.

3Cook without stirring to 234° on candy thermometer or until mixture forms a soft ball in cold water.

4Remove from heat.

5Add vanilla and nuts.

6Stir gently until all nuts are coated.

7Pour onto waxed paper.

8Separate the nuts with a fork.

9Let dry.

10Store in an airtight container.

11Yield: 4 cups.
