  • 1 12 cups sugar
  • 34 cup cold water
  • 1 tablespoon maple flavoring
  • 4 12 cups Spanish peanuts, with skin
  • 12 teaspoon salt

Directions

    In large saucepan, combine sugar, water, maple flavoring and peanuts.

    Cook and stir over medium heat for 20 minutes, until almost all the liquid is absorbed.

    Spread into a greased 15x10 inch sheet.

    Sprinkle with salt.

    Bake at 350* for 25 minutes, stirring a few times.

    Cool completely.
