Ingredients

  • 3 c. sugar
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/3 c. orange juice
  • 1 tsp. orange rind
  • 1 lb. pecans, sliced

Directions

    Mix sugar, water and juice; boil to soft ball stage or 240° on a candy thermometer.

    Remove from burner; add orange rind and pecans and stir until syrup looks cloudy.

    Pour onto heavy wax paper as mixture cools.

    Break apart.
