  • 1 (12 oz.) can frozen apple juice concentrate
  • 3 Tbsp. quick cooking tapioca
  • 1/8 tsp. salt (optional)
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 5 large apples, cored and peeled (6 or 7 c.)
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 (9-inch) pie crust (unbaked)

Directions

    Completely thaw apple juice; stir in tapioca, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg.

    Add butter and sliced apples.

    Pour into pie shell; cover with a top crust or chopped nuts.

    Bake at 350° for 1 hour. Chill before serving.
