- 1 c. raisins
- 1/2 c. crushed pineapple
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. dates
- 1 c. water
- 1 c. whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- 1 stick margarine
Directions

1Boil the raisins, dates, pineapple and water for 3 minutes. Add margarine to this mixture; let cool.

2Mix flour, baking soda, eggs and vanilla; add to the cool fruit mixture.

3Add nuts.

4Put in a 10 x 13-inch pan.

5Bake at 350° for 12 minutes, or until done.
