14 cup granulated sugar
12 cup butter or 12 cup margarine, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
1 14 cups all-purpose flour
12 teaspoon baking soda
1 12 cups small gumdrops, cut in half

1 teaspoon shortening

Directions

Heat oven to 350 degrees Mix sugars, butter, vanilla and egg in large bowl with spoon.

Stir in flour and baking soda (dough will be stiff) Spread or pat dough in ungreased 12 inch pizza pan or in 12 inch circle on ungreased cookie sheet Bake 10 minutes.

Sprinkle gumdrops over partially baked crust.

Bake about 5 minutes longer or until curst is golden brown; cool in pan 30 minutes.

Melt baking chips and shortening in small heavy saucepan over low heat, stirring frequently.

Drizzle over cookie and let stand 15 to 20 minutes or until set.

To serve, cut into wedges.
