  • 2 cans water chestnuts
  • 1 lb. bacon, cut in thirds
  • 1/2 c. chili sauce
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar

Directions

    Wrap each chestnut in a piece of bacon and hold together with toothpicks.

    Place in a 9 x 13-inch glass dish.

    Mix 1/2 cup chili sauce, 1/2 cup mayonnaise and 1/2 cup brown sugar.

    Pour mixture over chestnuts and bake for 1 hour at 350°.

    Serves 6 to 8 people.
