  • 3 large peeled and sliced peaches
  • 3/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 c. butter (room temperature)
  • 2 large eggs
  • confectioners sugar for top

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    Mix peaches, 2 tablespoons of sugar and cinnamon in large bowl.

    Cream butter and remaining sugar.

    Add eggs, one at a time until fluffy.

    Add dry ingredients just until blended.

    Pour batter into greased 8 x 8-inch pan.

    Arrange peaches on top attractively.

    Bake about 50 minutes or until done. Cool in pan; dust with sugar.
