  • 2 lb. hamburger
  • 1 c. water
  • 3 Tbsp. curing salt with sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. liquid smoke
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp. onion powder

    Mix together well.

    Shape into a roll and wrap with foil, shiny side out.

    Refrigerate 24 hours.

    Remove from refrigerator; cut holes in bottom of foil so fat can drip.

    Place on rack in pan and bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours.
