- 1 chopped green pepper
- 1 small chopped onion
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1 lb. hamburger
- 1 can condensed tomato soup
- 1 large can red kidney beans
- salt
- paprika
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- generous pinch of sage
Directions

1Fry green pepper and onion in butter for a few minutes.

2Add hamburger and condensed tomato soup.

3Drain and add red kidney beans, saving the juice.

4Season with salt, paprika, Worcestershire sauce and sage.

5Simmer about 25 minutes, moistening with the bean liquid if needed.
