- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 cups rye flour
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 3 teaspoons yeast
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 2/3 cups water, divided
- 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
- 4 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 4 tablespoons flax seeds, soaked overnight
Directions

1Mix flours and salt together.

2Proof yeast with honey in 1/4 cup warm water.

3Add the yeast and the rest of the water to flour.

4Knead for 10 minutes.

5Knead in the seeds.

6Let rise until doubled; cover with damp cloth; put in greased bowl; punch down; shape into 12 buns.

7Brush tops with water.

8Place on a greased cookie sheet .

9Slice tops, cover, and let rise.

10Brush tops with milk.

11Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 minutes or golden brown; the higher the temperature, the crispier the crust.
