- 5 medium carrots
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. ginger
- 1/4 c. orange juice
- 2 Tbsp. butter
Directions

1Cut carrots 1-inch thick.

2Cook in salted water about 20 minutes.

3Drain.

4Mix sugar, cornstarch, salt and ginger in small saucepan.

5Add orange juice.

6Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and bubbles.

7Boil 1 minute.

8Stir in butter. Pour over hot carrots, tossing to coat evenly.

9Serves 4.
