  • 1/2 lb. spinach
  • 1/3 lb. sliced ham
  • 1/3 lb. Jack cheese
  • 1 hard-boiled egg, quartered
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • garlic to taste

    Pound steak to 1/2-inch thickness.

    Season with salt, pepper and garlic.

    Layer spinach, ham, cheese and egg in that order. Roll tightly and tie with a string.

    Bake in 350° oven for 1 hour; cut into slices.
