Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. plain flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. parsley flakes
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 c. flour (plain)
  • oil
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. green onions (optional)

Directions

    Preheat oven to 425°.

    Brown ground beef in skillet; drain. Stir in tomato sauce, green pepper, 2 tablespoons flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt, the pepper and parsley flakes.

    Heat to boiling, boil and stir 1 minute.

    Pour into ungreased 9 x 13-inch baking dish, sprinkle cheese on top.
