  • chopped parsley and snipped chives,mixed -75ml/5tbsp skimmed milk soft cheese-1/2cup
  • rolled oats -1/2cup
  • salt and black pepper
  • mixed leaf and tomato salad to serve

    1.preheat oven to gas6.Mix together the herbs,cheese and seasonings,then roll into three even sized balls

    2.Divide the sausage into three and press each piece out to a round,about 1cm/ 1/2in thick

    3.wrap each cheese ball in a piece of sausage,smoothing over all the joins to enclose the cheese completely,spread out the rolled oats on a plate and roll the balls in oats,using your hands to coat them evenly

    4.place the balls on a baking sheet and bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden.Serve hot or cold with a mixed leaf and tomato salad
