- 1 c. butter
- 1/2 c. confectioners sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 3/4 c. sifted plain flour
- 1 c. finely chopped pecans
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions

1Cream butter and confectioners sugar.

2Add vanilla, flour, nuts and salt; mix.

3Chill well.

4Shape dough into crescents, using 1/2 teaspoon dough.

5Put on cookie sheet.

6Bake at 300° for 18 to 20 minutes.

7Check to be sure they do not brown.

8When done, roll in 1 cup confectioners sugar to which 1 teaspoon of vanilla has been added.

9Makes between 6 and 7 dozen.
